Because the GPU is not responding, you don't see an actual BSOD - just the black screen. it doesn't look like a real bsod: games freeze---> black screen with distorted sounds > ctrl alt can and go to desktop---->game still run in window mode but i can't access And it's killing me not being able to play it ATALL.
