note that the systen re-booted twice automatically then all was well. I checked the registry key and it's sure in there (HKLM\MS\Win NT\WinLogon under the SHELL command)If I login and activate the Task Manager I can manually start Explorer.exe and things seem and now the Desktop Icons have gone very large, the screen resolution is correct at 1440X900, the DPI is OK, the icons in any application are OK it,s just the Desktop Right click on the desktop 2.

thought I had the Black Screen of Death... So what i did, and probably the easiest fix i have ever done, was pop in the Windows 7 CD , booted from it , went to Repair My Computer , I can use that pop up window to go online and go control panel and all that, I can also runall the programjust like normal.Everythings sames normal besides I cannot get this content There are many causes for Windows Explorer not loading and some are not easy to fix.
