I didn't even have to reboot after changing the setting. Hardware & Devices Hard drive light stays on and computer freezes randomly in windows 7I am little bit worried about my harddrive. hardware all seems fine drivers seemed good. I had something very similar with a failing WD drive. i thought i had fixed it by trying a few other solutions i had found here on the net such as.... 1. Tried a new hard disk n checked the memory and still the same.
