If you don't get a BSOD then try running Prime95 (default settings) for 4-5 hours (8 if you really wanna test it), and if you still don't get a BSOD/crash then This should help you narrow things down some. There's only reason you spend time reading a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) article, and that's to try and solve a problem you're having with your own system. Your computer might be able to at least work without the hard drive plugged in while running on your SSD standalone. weblink That said, Samsung couldn't have been too happy that this electronic ad that crashed into a BSoD, though it obviously didn't prevent the company from selling a quintillion phones since then.

It's either software related(most probably this) or some other hardware of yours (GPU probably or maybe you need to update your BIOS to improve it's compatibility with your GPU).
