solved how do we view a dump file when all solution just show how to solve the problem ? In windows explorer you may need to go to: Tools,folder options,view then select "show hidden files and folders" in order to see this folder. Also sometimes I'll get a blue screen that appears for about ten seconds before it turns off. It also provided the location of .dmp and .xml files that are supposed to describe the problem. I checked BlueScreenView, saw that the last minidump had occurred at 2:51:08 AM, and consulted MyEventViewer for events occurring at that time. I will try your suggested options. It gives me BUGCODE_NSID Driver problem. 0x0000007C blue screen error. The box remains unchecked, but I have a feeling it might not actually be saving the option, as I never get a bluescreen as a result, and I feel I should.
