Keyboard Driver Won't Install

Click on Advanced tab, Click on Environment Variables. This is not usable, so I'm trying to undo this. I haven't tried Windows Repair, but from my experience it just brakes it even more (this is an old Windows 7 installation). How do I get it to find the input devices? a fantastic read

The device manager shows two keyboard devices (no idea why), so I've de-installed both and re-installed them. Does the keyboard show up in Device manager? Though this has been going on for a few months now, never had issues prior to it.The latest is Microsoft's SideWinder X4 Keyboard. I can't give any input, and therefore can't install the OS.
