Windows 7 Sysprep Keep Asking For Username
They will show up as errors in SIM but ignore the errors. It goes through one more time, says windows has a problem (still in the OOBE portion here) and then stops with an error, rebooting brings it back to the same error I can't take credit since I found this information somehwere and just changed it for my environment. i don't use any software to configure sysprep except sysprep itself.can we do a unattend.xml directly with just this information ? –inkx Jul 1 '14 at 15:01 you need Check This Out

I use the Ghost cast server. Currently in my sysprep file I have a * for the computer name which gives me different names for all of them which is good but these names are random. I am still getting prompted to enter the username after the machine is sysprepped and reboots.
