Windows Explorer Icon Keeps Disappearing

I was having the same/similar issue and icon did not show up either, on a PC.However: 1.- I open the 'Windows Explorer' and 'search' for Dropbox. 2.- I clicked the application I downloaded the default html register and merge it to mine (run the reg file). I still can't get the icon in my system tray and my files are not syncing.
